Operation method of tape measure
Step 1: prepare a ruler. We should note that the switch button on the ruler is off.
Step 2: turn on the switch, and we can pull the ruler at will, stretching and contracting automatically.
Step 3: the 0 scale pair of the ruler is closely attached to one end of the object, and then we keep it parallel to the object, pull the ruler to the other end of the object, and stick to this end, and close the switch.
Step 4: keep the sight line perpendicular to the scale on the ruler and read the data. Record it.
Step 5: turn on the switch, take back the ruler, close the switch and put it back in place.
Tips:reading method of measuring tape
1. Direct reading method
When measuring, align the zero scale of the steel tape with the starting point of measurement, apply appropriate tension, and directly read the scale on the scale corresponding to the end point of measurement.
2. Indirect reading method
In some parts where the steel tape cannot be used directly, a steel ruler or a square ruler can be used to align the zero scale with the measuring point, and the ruler body is consistent with the measuring direction; Measure the distance to a full scale on the steel ruler or square ruler with a tape, and measure the remaining length with reading method. Warm tip: generally, the marks of tape measure are calculated in millimeters, one small grid is one millimeter, and 10 grids are one centimeter. 10. 20, 30 is 10, 20, 30 cm. The reverse side of the tape is the city scale: City ruler, city inch; The front of the tape is divided into upper and lower parts, with metric scale (meter, centimeter) on one side and English scale (foot, inch) on the other.
