Application

Flarer: it is used for expanding the bell mouth of the copper pipe to connect the indoor and outdoor units of the split type air conditioner through the pipe. When expanding the mouth, first put the annealed copper pipe on the connecting nut, and then put the copper pipe into the corresponding hole of the clamp. The height of the copper pipe exposed to the clamp is one fifth of the diameter. Tighten the nuts at both ends of the clamp, press the conical head of the flared ejector on the pipe mouth, and slowly rotate the screw clockwise, Press the nozzle into a bell mouth.

Operation Instruction/Operation Method

When expanding the pipe, first anneal the flared end of the copper pipe and file it flat with a file, then place the copper pipe in the clamp of the corresponding pipe diameter, tighten the fastening nut on the clamp, and firmly clamp the copper pipe. When expanding the bell mouth, the pipe mouth must be higher than the surface of the clamp, and its height is slightly higher than the length of the chamfer of the clamping hole. Then, screw the cone head onto the top pressing screw of the bow frame, fix the bow frame on the clamp, and make the cone head and the center of the copper pipe on the same line. Then, turn the handle on the top pressing screw clockwise to make the cone head against the pipe mouth. Tighten the screw evenly and slowly. Rotate the cone head downward for 3 / 4 turn, and then reverse for 1 / 4 turn. Repeat this process and gradually expand the nozzle into a bell mouth. When tightening the screw, be careful not to use excessive force to avoid bursting the side wall of the copper pipe. When expanding the bell mouth, apply a little refrigerant oil on the cone head to facilitate the lubrication of the bell mouth. Finally, the expanded bell mouth shall be round, smooth and free of cracks. When expanding the cup-shaped mouth, the clamp must still firmly clamp the copper pipe, otherwise the copper pipe is easy to loosen and move back during expanding, resulting in insufficient depth of the cup-shaped mouth. The height of the nozzle exposed to the clamp surface shall be 1-3mm larger than the pipe diameter. The series of expansion heads matched with the pipe expander have been formed for the flare depth and clearance of different pipe diameters. Generally, the extension length of pipe diameter less than 10mm is about 6-10mm, and the clearance is 0.06-o 10mm. When expanding, it is only necessary to fix the expansion head corresponding to the pipe diameter on the top pressing screw of the bow frame, then fix the bow frame and slowly tighten the screw. The specific operation method is the same as that when expanding the bell mouth.
