Precautions when use the L type woodworking positioning ruler:

1. Before using the positioning square, check whether there are bruises and small burrs on each working face and edge, and repair them if there are. The working face of the square and the surface to be inspected should be cleaned and wiped.

2. When using the woodworking square, lean the square against the relevant surface of the workpiece to be checked.

3. When measuring, pay attention to the position of the square, not skew.

4. When using and placing a long working edge square, pay attention to prevent the ruler from bending and deformation.

5. If the L type woodworking square can be used with other measuring tools to read the same, as far as possible, the square will be turned 180 degrees and measured again, take the arithmetic average of the two readings before and after the result. This allows the deviation of the square itself.
